This coffee, Burundi Heza Lot 10, comes to us thanks to the efforts of the Long Miles Coffee Project, essentially a family working to expose the world to the potential of quality coffee from Burundi, located in the heart of East Africa. This lot is a fine example of that potential.
In their quest to facilitate meaningful relationships between coffee roasters and growers and help tell the story of the local coffee farmers, Ben & Kristy Carlson's journey led them to Burundi, Africa. It was there sourcing coffee that they came to the conclusion that if they wanted to realize their dream they must build a washing station in Burundi and move their family of 2 young boys from America to Burundi to be fully engaged in the community and help it thrive.
Read about this young family's story and their passion behind Burundi coffee.
